Mrs. Foster's homepage -- week of October 12th.                                                                                                                  Welcome to the First Trimester!  My webpage will let you know what topics and sections we are working on in math class as well as reminding you of upcoming assessments.  Please verify that your student has all the necessary supplies to work effectively.  We are working together to make this a great year!   *All math students should have a notebook in which to write notes, examples, reflections, and practice.  Students also need a folder to store all handouts and something to write with.  Come prepared every day. *Remember to check the agenda for daily homework assignments with my initials. * Message folders go home daily.  Check regularly for important information. * I am available for extra help before and after school everyday.  Make an appointment. RED -- Students will be Solving Inequalities this week (sheets 4-8, 4-9) to finish up chapter 4.  Retakes are available on quiz 4.4-4.6 this week if interested.  Look for quiz results in Message Folders on Wednesday. BLUE -- The class is continuing its Forensic Project which is due on Friday 4/30, before beginning the study of Parallel and Perpendicular Lines (sheet 4-7).  Look for quiz results in Message Folders Wednesday. ORANGE -- Students will be studying Multiplication and Division of Fractions and Mixed Numbers (sheets 6-4, 6-6).  Look for test results in message folders Wednesday.  Retakes are available on Quiz 6.1-6.3 this week if interested. GREEN -- The class will review for the upcoming quiz on Multiplication and Division of Fractions and Mixed Numbers scheduled for Thurs, 4/29, before beginning the study of Customary Measurement (sheet 6-7).  Look for quiz results in message folders on Wednesday. ACADEMY -- Math Academy classes will be studying some Mastery Test topics this trimester and improving skills using ISucceed software. This week we are working on Percents. Let's  Calculate!
